Me and My Mother

This photo was taken by my father. I am about 2, maybe 3 years old in the photo. That makes my mother about 22 years old. I recognize the setting in the uncropped original as the porch of a little house we lived in off of Ganahl St. in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. I found this photo as a negative among some old papers of mine and scanned it myself. I cleaned the image up in Lightroom and Photoshop and did final processing in Photoshop. I chose a light cross-process effect to finish the image because the coloring better highlights the accents and details.
