I guess I’ve always loved making images. I began as a youngster with cheap Kodak 110s and occasional forays with my father’s Konica 35mm kit. I took many photos during my years in the Navy as well (though only a sad few of these survive).
The greatest hinderance for me in the early days was the inefficiency of film. I did some basic photography in my earliest days in the ministry, but it wasn’t until the advent of digital that I really began to explore the possibilities and my own skills as a photographer.
I am a video production professional by trade and I work in video graphics design and editing. Video and photography have naturally gone hand-in-hand for me and I have used the skills from one discipline to create images in the other and vice-versa.
The photos presented here are my personal favorites. While not ever last photo has been captured by me, I have done all of the post-processing on everything that is presented here. The vast majority of the photos are personal creations while many are also from my family archives and showcase my personal history as well as my re-touching and restoration skills.
While I am not a professional photographer, I am available for photography and/or post-processing work if you like what you see here.
Enjoy!
